PRIVACY POLICY

In the course of our business, we (UNiFAi) need to process personal data for various reasons. The protection and respect of your personal data is a priority for UNiFAi, and we do everything in our power to offer you a privacy by design service. Our employees are regularly made aware of the importance of protecting and respecting your privacy, and every action we take is done with respect to your data and your rights.

This page aims to be transparent and clear with you about all the processing of personal data that we carry out as part of our activity. We also detail the purposes of each processing operation, as well as the rights you can exercise in this context, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Any questions or requests regarding the use of your personal data can be sent to privacy@unifai.fr.

The golden rules

The golden rule that we impose on ourselves at UNiFAi is that we do not own your data, only you do. We do not sell your data to third parties, nor do we use it for targeted advertising.

In addition, the RGPD imposes certain important principles to which UNiFAi is committed:

  • UNiFAi undertakes to collect and process only the data necessary for the purposes of the processing. The processing operations are described below;
  • We also undertake to keep the data for a period of time defined according to the purpose of the processing. The durations are defined below;
  • Finally, the security and protection of your data is a priority at UNiFAi. We impose strict security measures on ourselves on a daily basis in order to best guarantee the integrity of your personal data.

Responsibility for treatment

In the course of its activity, UNiFAi acts as a data processor. The nature of our business (data quality work) may lead us to perform data quality processing on personal data. In this case, as with any other type of data, UNiFAi acts as a data processor and is not responsible for the purpose of the processing.

Data processing

This section covers all the data processing that we carry out in the course of our business. You can send any questions or requests regarding the use of your personal data to privacy@unifai.fr.

Browsing our website

If you browse our website without providing us with any other data (e.g. via a contact form), we will only collect the technically necessary data, which is automatically transmitted to our server (e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and operating system). This is a technical requirement to enable us to display our site correctly on your browser. If personal data is affected by this (e.g. your IP address), the legal basis for collection is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Apart from cookies (see the section dedicated to cookies), this data is not kept beyond your browsing time on our site.

Contact forms

Our site includes several contact forms through which you can send us personal data. The purpose of these forms is to allow us to contact you if you need more information about our solution. If you use one of these forms, we will collect and store the data entered (last name, first name, email address). This data will not be shared with third parties. If you give your consent, Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR will be the legal basis for processing your data. If you send a request in preparation for the signing of the contract, Art (1)(b) GDPR will be another legal basis. We use the data for the sole purpose of processing and responding to your request.

The data is kept for a period of 3 years after our last contact. After this period, your right to be forgotten is automatically exercised and your data will be deleted. However, we may keep an anonymised record of your data for statistical purposes on our side.

Prospecting data

As part of the development of our business, we may need to contact you directly. When we contact you in this way, we have previously collected personal data about you, including: your name, first name, email address, your company and your position in your company. This information is necessary for us to identify the people concerned by the solution we are marketing.

The data is collected via the LinkedIn browser service, in compliance with the LinkedIn TOS. The legal basis for this processing is a legitimate interest for UNiFAi, in order to enable us to develop our business under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

The data is kept for a period of 3 years after our last contact. After this period, your right to be forgotten is automatically exercised and your data will be deleted. However, we may keep an anonymised record of your data for statistical purposes on our side.
